Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, has underscored the importance of integrity in leadership, urging Ndị Anambra to beware of people without integrity seeking political offices.
Mefor stated this in his office while hosting members of Soludo Sure Victory Movement, Anambra East Local Government Area, led by Andy Azu Onyeaka.
He said, “When integrity becomes scarce among those seeking office, you should run. Leadership without integrity is a disaster.
“Governor Soludo’s major opponent does not have integrity. That’s why he’s afraid to put some qualifications in his complementary card for INEC to see.
“Soludo’, on the other hand, proudly put there his Bsc (First Class), Msc (First Class), PhD (Best graduating student), Professor of Economics. How do you begin to compare?” Mefor queried.
The Commissioner urged the group to relentlessly showcase the Governor’s achievements to ensure his resounding victory.
“Soludo’s good works speak for themselves and his impressive achievements will guarantee his victory in the November poll,” he added.
Earlier, National Coordinator/Founder of the Movement, Andy Azu Onyeaka, expressed appreciation for Soludo’s constant engagement with non-indigenes in the State to ensure cordial relationship.
He announced the group’s decision to bestow on the governor ‘The best Non- Indigenes Friendly Governor in Nigeria 2025’.
“We have resolved to sensitize all non- indigenes movements living in Anambra State from 18 years and above on the forthcoming INEC Voter Revision Exercise.
“The exercise will afford them the opportunity to obtain new INEC Voter’s Cards or revalidate their old ones if need be.”
