Anambra 2025: Ukachukwu, Ekwunife offer unbeatable combination – JohnBosco Onunkwo

A former governorship aspirant in the November 8, Anambra State guber polls, JohnBosco Onunkwo says combination of Nicholas Ukachukwu and former Senator, Uche Ekwunife as governorship candidate and running-mate for APC is unbeatable.

Onunkwo who was speaking with journalists in Onitsha described the combination of the two strong politicians as “a wonderful one”.

He said, “There is an axiom that behind every successful man, is a woman.

“Their combination is a cohesive bondage. It is as good as we have won the election.

“These two persons are grassrooters. They have gone to the nooks and crannies of Anambra State.

According to Onunkwo, the duo have established memorials with Anambra people having cut across every other political party.

“With the support of those of us in the party, their supporters and individuals who have passion and yearning for good governance, we can win the November 8 governorship election.

“Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu is a man of proven integrity, known and loved by many people in Anambra State and beyond,

“Uche Ekwunife is many times Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria, multiple times House of Representatives member, and a woman of substance,” he asserted.

Reconciliatory efforts yielding results

Onunkwo is the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Peace and Reconciliatory Committee, Anambra State.

He said that the party faithful are united behind the candidature of Ukachukwu and his running mate, Ekwunife.

The support he partly linked to the work that his committee is doing.

“I contested in the APC governorship primary, and a no victor, no vanquished was declared, I am a party man, I abide by the principles of the party.

“It was a good contest and a winner emerged. I congratulated him, we are moving forward to make sure that the primary that produced the winner also produce Anambra State Governor come November 8.

According to him, in every big family, there is always acrimonies and misunderstandings but members must always work for peace.

“The peace and reconciliatory committee has recorded more than 90% in uniting all the party faithful in Anambra State behind Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Sen Uche Ekwunife,” Onunkwo noted.
