Police in Anambra state have arrested three armed robbery suspects in Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area of the state.
Command spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga disclosed this on Monday in Awka.
He said the suspects were apprehended by Police Operatives attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Awkuzu.
“The Police arrested three male suspects—Monday Onoja, Sanusi Muhammed, and Kenneth Nwokpu, aged 27 to 32.
“They were arrested in the early hours of May 30, 2025, based on information from a suspect in custody.
“Recovered items include an automatic pump action gun and a white Mercedes Benz C300 4MATIC (Reg No: KWC 140).
“Other are ash Lexus 350 (Reg No: 669 CY), and two exotic phones, all suspected to have been stolen.
“The Operatives have expanded investigations and emplaced every necessary measure to arrest other gang members that are currently at large.
“This development highlights the Command’s proactive approach to potentially disrupting all criminal networks in the State.”
