Former Anambra State Governor, Dr Willie Obiano, has denied endorsing any aspirant for the Nov. 8 Anambra governorship election.
Obiano dismissed the viral social media post as false.
He made this known in a statement by his former Commissioner for Information, Dr. Paul Nwosu,
Obiano described the claim — that he endorsed a candidate during a speech in Texas — as “fake news.”
Nwosu clarified that Obiano neither addressed any gathering in Texas nor commented on any candidate.
He added that the former governor remains committed to Anambra’s progress and will publicly express his views, if necessary, through direct and official channels.
