Nigeria advanced to the U-20 AFCON quarter-finals after a 2-2 draw against Kenya at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo on Wednesday.
Kenya took the lead twice through Kevin Injehu’s early penalty and William Gitama’s second-half strike, despite already being eliminated.
Nigeria equalized each time via Kparobo Arierhi and a Daniel Bameyi penalty.
The result, along with Morocco’s 3-1 win over Tunisia, sees Nigeria finish second in Group B with five points, behind Morocco (7).
Kenya exit with one point from three matches.
Nigeria now await their quarter-final opponent.
