The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has forecast a mix of sunshine and thunderstorms across the country from Wednesday to Friday.
According to its weather outlook released in Abuja, sunny skies are expected in the northern region.
Alongside isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms in states including Kaduna, Adamawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, and Taraba.
In the North Central region, increased cloudiness and thunderstorms are likely, especially in the afternoons and evenings across the FCT, Benue, Plateau, Niger, Kwara, and Kogi.
The southern region will experience cloudy mornings with localized thunderstorms in places like Delta, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Bayelsa.followed by widespread thunderstorms later in the day.
On Thursday and Friday, similar weather patterns are expected nationwide, with morning and evening thunderstorms in various parts of the North, North Central, and South.
NiMet warned that strong winds may precede thunderstorms and advised the public to take precautions.
