Chief George Moghalu has emerged the candidate of Labour Party in the Anambra Governorship election scheduled for Nov. 8 in Anambra.
Moghalu was declared winner after a Primary election of the party in Awka with 597 delegates.
The Chairman, Primary Election Committee and the Returning Officer, Mr Benedict Etanbene, announced the results.
He said Moghalu polled 573 votes to defeat his rival, Mr John Nwosu who polled 19 votes while five votes were invalid.
